教学目的、要求

本课程属于跨学科工程研究专题讨论课,可作为科技哲学、科技史、科技政策与管理等专业研究生的专业课或选修课,同时也适合其他理工专业硕士研究生选修。通过案例分析和课堂讨论,本课程基于跨学科视野(历史、社会学、哲学等),就工程实践中的若干重要问题进行重点文献阅读和研讨,具体涉及工程史与工程演化、工匠精神、工程中的性别、工程中的修辞术、工程与社会、大科学工程、工程政治、工程失败与工程学习、走向工程强国以及工程与可持续发展问题,目的是拓展学生的学术视野,提升其学术鉴赏力,培养其面对工程议题所需的批判性思维能力和论证能力。
